LAN File Transfer — Send Files Over WiFi, No Cloud, No Size Limit
CastAngel lets you transfer files between any device and your Windows PC over the local network — no cloud, no upload, no signup. Drop a file in the browser, it lands on the PC instantly. Files travel directly over WiFi, never through a third-party server. Each user gets their own folder, so uploads stay organized.
How local file transfer works
Drop files in the browser, receive on the PC
Open the CastAngel URL on your phone or tablet, drag a file into the browser, and it transfers directly to the PC over WiFi. No upload to a cloud server, no download link to share — just a direct local transfer.
Multi-user folders — everyone gets their own space
Create a user folder for each person. When they upload, files automatically land in their folder on the PC desktop. 张三's files go to a folder named 张三, Alice's to Alice — no mixing, no confusion.
Why it's different from cloud transfer
Files never leave your network
Tools like WeTransfer or Google Drive upload your files to their servers first. CastAngel doesn't. Files go directly from device to PC over your local WiFi. No third party can access them.
No upload wait — direct WiFi transfer
Because files transfer over your local network, there's no upload bandwidth bottleneck. A 1GB file transfers at your WiFi speed — typically much faster than uploading to the cloud and downloading again.
No account, no signup
No email to enter, no account to create, no login. Just open the URL and drop files. CastAngel doesn't collect any personal information.
Smart Folders
Name users anything — files auto-sort to desktop folders
Chinese characters, letters, numbers — any valid folder name works. Create a user called 张三, and every file they upload goes to the desktop in a folder called 张三. It's automatic, no configuration needed.
FAQ
Is there a file size limit?
No. Files transfer in 4MB chunks, so even very large files work. The limit is your local storage and WiFi speed, not CastAngel.
Where are the files stored?
Files are stored on the PC's desktop, in a folder named after the user who uploaded them. They never go to any cloud or external server.
Can multiple people upload at once?
Yes. Each person uses their own user folder. Multiple people can upload simultaneously — their files go to their respective folders automatically.
