End-User License Agreement
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("you" or "Licensee") and CastAngel ("Licensor") for the CastAngel software product ("Software"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. Grant of License
Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Software on the number of devices for which you have purchased a license. A license is bound to a single physical machine via a hardware fingerprint (SMBIOS and CPU identifier). One license key may not be used on multiple machines simultaneously.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the Software to access and transfer files on computers you own or for which you have explicit authorization from the owner. The Software is designed for use on local area networks and private networks.
3. Prohibited Use
You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law; (b) redistribute, resell, sublicense, or lease the Software or license keys without prior written consent; (c) use the Software to access systems without authorization from their owner; (d) remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices.
4. Intellectual Property
The Software is owned by Licensor and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This EULA grants you a license — it does not transfer title to the Software.
5. Privacy & Data
The Software does not transmit screen content, files, or your machine identifier to Licensor. All screen and file traffic remains on your local network. Activation is verified locally against a hardware fingerprint. No telemetry is collected.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Licensor does not warrant that the Software will operate error-free or that all defects are corrected.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of the use or inability to use the Software, even if Licensor has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Licensor's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Software.
8. Refunds
Licensor offers a 14-day refund from the date of purchase. To request a refund, contact [email protected] with your order details.
9. Termination
This EULA terminates automatically if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must cease using the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.
10. Governing Law
This EULA shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11. Entire Agreement
This EULA constitutes the entire agreement between you and Licensor with respect to the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
